This Privacy Policy explains how PersonAI ("we," "us," "our," or the "App") collects, uses, shares, and protects information, including information obtained through your Google Account, when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
Providing our Service requires collecting and processing some of your information. We collect:
Account information (name, email, profile details).
Usage data (tasks created, life areas selected, app activity).
Device information (operating system, app version, device identifiers).
AI questionnaire responses (to personalize suggestions).
Google Calendar data, if you choose to connect your Google Account (see Section 3).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to operate, improve, and personalize the Service.
We use your data to provide AI suggestions and insights tailored to your patterns.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share anonymized or aggregated data for analytics and service improvement.
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time via in-app settings or by contacting getpersonaiapp@gmail.com.
We comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and Google Play data policies.
3. Google User Data We Access
When you connect your Google Account to PersonAI, we request access to the following Google Calendar scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — allows PersonAI to view and manage events on your Google Calendar (create, read, update, and delete calendar events, including event titles, descriptions, times, locations, and attendees).
We do not request or access any other Google data (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Photos, Contacts) beyond what is listed above.
4. How We Use Google User Data
We use Google Calendar data solely to provide the core functionality of PersonAI, specifically to:
Display your upcoming calendar events within the App.
Create, update, and delete calendar events on your behalf, based on your explicit requests or instructions to the App.
Google Calendar data is used only for this direct, in-app event management functionality.
We do not use AI or machine learning models to process, analyze, or generate content from your Google Calendar data.
We do not use your Google Calendar data for advertising, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the core functionality described above.
5. How We Share Google User Data
We do not sell your Google user data, and we do not share it with any third-party AI/ML service providers. We only share Google Calendar data in the following limited circumstances:
Infrastructure providers: We may use standard cloud hosting/database providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) solely to store and operate the App. These providers do not use your data for any purpose other than providing hosting infrastructure to us, and do not use it to train AI/ML models.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PersonAI, our users, or others.
Business transfers: If PersonAI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not share Google user data with any advertisers, data brokers, or AI/ML model providers.
6. Data Protection for Google User Data
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your Google user data, including:
Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your device, our servers, and Google's APIs is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
Encryption at rest: Stored Calendar data is encrypted at rest.
Access controls: Access to Google user data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems on a need-to-know basis, protected by authentication and role-based access controls.
Minimal retention: We only store the minimum data necessary to provide the Service (see Section 8).
7. No AI/ML Use & Limited Use Compliance
PersonAI's Google Calendar integration is used exclusively for direct, in-app calendar event management (creating, reading, updating, and deleting events at your request). PersonAI does not use any AI or machine learning models — whether our own, self-hosted, or provided by a third party — to process, analyze, generate insights from, or otherwise handle your Google Calendar data.
Limited Use Disclosure: PersonAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is not transferred to any AI/ML service provider, for training purposes or otherwise.
Google user data is not used, in raw, aggregated, or derived form, to create, train, or improve any foundational or generalized machine learning or AI model.
Any AI features that may exist elsewhere in PersonAI (unrelated to Google Calendar) operate entirely independently and never process Google user data.
8. Google User Data Retention and Deletion
We retain Google Calendar data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service to you, or until you disconnect your Google Account or delete your PersonAI account, whichever comes first.
Upon account deletion or disconnection of your Google Account, we will delete all associated Google Calendar data from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You may request deletion of your data, or revoke PersonAI's access to your Google Account, at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page and removing PersonAI's access, and/or contacting us at getpersonaiapp@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.
9. Data Sync & Storage
PersonAI provides automatic cloud backup and cross-device sync.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.
The app works fully offline; changes sync automatically when you reconnect.
We retain backup copies of your data for recovery purposes.
Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where required by law.
10. Your Rights & Choices
You may access, update, or correct your account information at any time through in-app settings.
You may disconnect your Google Account from PersonAI at any time, which stops all further access to your Google Calendar data.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), including the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data.
11. Children's Privacy
PersonAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified in-app or via email of material changes, and continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
